FOREWORD*

Alison Powers and Laura Riley
We are pleased to present the second annual issue of our collaborative publication. Students from Loyola, Pepperdine, UCLA, and USC worked with attorneys, activists, and community members to create public interest scholarship. The purpose of this practitioner focused scholarship is to share best practices, develop ideas and generate research that promotes social justice in Los Angeles and beyond. The Journal is committed to putting ideas into practice, so we encourage you to enjoy the articles with an eye to how you could incorporate your colleagues’ techniques into your own work.
